Go to the Windows app store at the windows 10, and download the Instagram application from there.
Wait for it to install and allow it to run on your computer.
Log in to your account, you would see the direct message icon.
Click on that icon, and consider sending a message to anyone.
To view a message from others, you will need to click on the DM icon and select the conversation to read it.
